The piece, properly
The Still Water stud holds a 5 mm glass crystal in a full bezel, so there are no prongs to catch on knitwear or dupattas. The blue-grey colour was chosen against a dozen Indian skin tones in daylight and tube light; it reads as a shadow of colour rather than a statement of one.
Named for the moment a pool settles and starts reflecting. The bezel is deliberately deep — the stone sits inside the metal like water below a rim, visible only when you look at it directly.
